Eating Disorder Awareness Week
Registered dietitians with MSU Student Health Partners are going to be setting up a table on Wednesday March 1st in the library to spread awareness about Eating Disorder Awareness week. This table will feature two activities including a “Trash Negative Self Talk” activity and a “Fact or Myth” game. The “Trash Negative Self Talk” will give students the opportunity to write something down that is a negative thought or feeling about themselves and throw it away, hopefully helping them to let go of that thought. The “Fact or Myth” game will help debunk or prove some ideas around nutrition and eating disorders that are often discussed. Students who participate in this activity will be entered into a raffle to win a prize. The overall purpose of this table is to spread awareness about eating disorders and give students the chance to talk with registered dietitians or counselors while learning about the available services.
